The Wooly booger is my choice for a scouting fly. Wooly’s blend is rich and deep. Not acidic but still has a distinct flavor. Rich and smokey and the first choice with any fruit dessert.
This coffee is as dark with no doubt. It has lovely aroma as it brews. The taste is so flavorful and bold. I like to sip it in the morning and truly enjoy it. It is just the right amounts of sweet, earthy, and smooth. One of the best dark roasts I have ever had. It’s one of our main daily coffees now. Pure excellence.
I like to consider myself a purveyor of comfortable clothing items and this one definitely fits the bill. Fit is consistent with popular brands like Next Level and Bella + Canvas. Really soft and I love the graphics on the front
So far I’ve had the Caddis, Brown Trout and Wooly Bugger blend and they’re all three phenomenal. I don’t see myself ever buying coffee from another company. These guys have years of experience in the coffee game and it shows.
Got this for one of my best friends for his birthday. He is a classic fly tyer and avid fisherman. He loved the package and told me that the coffee is excellent! Amazing customer service also! Can’t wait to place an other order
Very very good coffee, the package looks amazing and the customer service is one of the bests i’ve ever had!
Gift for my father and he told the whole family to keep the bag and to make sure to not throw it out. Nice slightly darker roast which my dad loves.
This is a good coffee and more to my husband's taste as I am a dark roast person. We use the drip grind and if I need a stronger cup I will add some brewed Muddler's blend to it. I also appreciate the donation to Casting for Recovery. Every dollar helps! Thankyou Anglers Coffee and Derek for the support
I am a dark roast coffee fanatic. I appreciate this coffee is low acid. I am an ice coffee person most of the year without creams or sugar. I do use the basic AeroPress I have had for several years to brew my coffee at home or on the road. This is my go to coffee now.
Really like this mug, especially the artwork and finish. Even when I'm drinking coffee in my study, I feel like I'm camping. Great job!
This is a really, really good coffee! I originally ordered 2-12oz bags, one for myself and one as a birthday present for our (about to turn 21) yr old son. Had to get him the Woolly Blend since an olive bugger is one of his favorite "go to" flies! Being in college he's had his share of coffee! In his words "this is great"! A little background on myself, I'm a fly fishing guide (Flywater Outfitters) and also work at Dally's Ozark Fly Fisher here in north central Arkansas. I always try to to keep a thermos of coffee in the boat and recently served this blend up to one of my clients who is from Germany and "well traveled". He also really enjoyed your coffee and had 2 cups even though the temp outside was hovering near 90! Then this week I brewed up a pot in our commercial maker at the shop for the customers and again, when I asked, same response "this is really great coffee"! So, there you have it!, my/our review and it seems to be unanimous! Great job! And I'll get out another order soon. Also, the Green Drake Decaf was for my wife and it get's the same BIG Kudos!! Thanks again and its really great to do business with such a very cool company that not only has such a quality product(s), but gives to others as well!! Sincerely! Michael Schraeder Sr.
i am extremely satisfied with your coffee. i will definitely be placing future orders, both for coffee and gear.

After the roasting process, a Roaster will decide if a coffee will shine best on its own or work better as an accompaniment in a blend.
We last met up with fly fisher Chris Hanson back in January, when he told us about his new fly fishing mini-documentary, which earned an Excellence in Cinematography award from the 2021 Real to Reel International Film Festival. For our latest Stories from the Stream, we talked with Chris this week about his recent trip fishing in Alaska. Seems like everyone we know is in Alaska these days, and we are happy for a trip report!
Think about roasting marshmallows. Some people like to just heat the marshmallow up ever so slightly, lightly browning the outside and warming the inside. A lightly roasted marshmallow still has a lot of the same sugar sweetness and flavors it had before roasting. Medium roasting the marshmallow will move away from that straight sugary sweetness and yield more of that toasted caramelized flavor. And then there is the dark roasted marshmallow, where some sweetness may exist, but the flavor you are really after is that smoky char. Everyone has a marshmallow roast preference, and most people have a coffee roast preference too.

KENYA AA - SINGLE ORIGIN COFFEE
Angler's Coffee single origin coffees are really special! These coffees come from a single producer, crop, or country and unlike blends, they offer a window into their place of origin revealing a full range of unique and flavorful characteristics.
Kenya AA coffee is renown for its complexity. It has a rich, floral aroma and a lightly tart structure reminiscent of raspberries and sweet alyssum. The mouthfeel is satiny and plush with a wine-like finish.
The "AA" grade designates that these are the very largest, densest and most well-shaped beans which naturally contain one of the highest concentrations of the aromatic oils so integral to the coffee-drinking experience.
And like all good things, it's only available at certain times of the year so don't delay - supplies are limited, demand is high and you won't want to wait 'til next year to experience this truly amazing coffee!
